"Perast and Our Lady of the Rocks", Bay of Kotor, Montenegro, 2010
The legend says that a painting of Our Lady -- Mary -- was found on a rock in the middle of the Bay of Kotor. That rock, with the help of scuttled ships and other detritus, has become the left-hand island you see in the photo. (Read more!)
